Hey ya, Hi ya, Ho ya!

Unlike myself, as you may have noticed, the website has had a little bit of a face lift.

I’ve gotten feedback that my podcast listeners are not necessarily vidcast or video viewers and vice versa. So I decided to separate the two for the time being.

Audio podcasts are now under audio podcasts with the same Rss feed that you have been using for years.

Videos and video podcasts are now under videos with a new (sort of) feed all it’s own. The feed for videos is now: http://feeds.feedburner.com/vtxvids

If you just want to watch my videos without subscribing, you can catch me on almost all of the video sites (Yeah, I’m a big time whore!) or you can check out my brand new video jukebox page! You can pick and choose from the video playlist on the right hand side of the viewer. Videos are listed from newest to oldest. Why not bookmark it ?

Anyway, that’s about it for now. I love each and every one of you and thanks SO MUCH for all of your support.

Hey everyone. Not much going on lately, except I am SO ready to get rid of my house and move to a far away country.

As you may know, I encountered an unexpected major expense to the money pit that I call home. My furnace finally went kaput on a day when it was in the low teens. As owner of this home for almost 20 years, this was to be somewhat expected. I had hoped that I could wait until the spring to replace the furnace and air conditioner for both financial and logistic reasons. Unfortunately, this was not to be the case for me. Not only did I have to incur the burden of an almost $6,000.00 HVAC bill, I also had a gas leak and a carbon monoxide leak due to the crapped out furnace to deal with.

As a single guy who lives alone, I had to take off of work to wait for Nicor (our natural gas provider) to check out the gas leak and carbon monoxide problem, as well as find a suitable HVAC installer. Waiting around all day long in a cold house for repair men and installers to show up over a course of almost a week gets really annoying, to say the least.

So while I was waiting around, spinning my wheels, I decided to work on ways to raise some money to pay for this expense. Most of you know that I also DJ on the side, which does help tremendously, but with the dilapidated laptop that I have, my gigs are somewhat unreliable. As such, the income from that source suffers. My goal was to purchase a Macbook Pro this month as a replacement and then start working more DJ gigs to generate more income. Unfortunately, the fund for the Macbook Pro had to be used for the furnace.

So I’m turning to all of my blog readers and podcast listeners for support to help me get back on track. Ive set up a fund for a Macbook Pro on my website. If anyone can contribute, even a small amount, I would be ever so grateful.

Sorry to sound like a whiny, begging ho’, but I’m kind of in a jam.

Hey everyone!

Tonight I upgraded WordPress to version 2.32. Overall, the upgrade went pretty well, except for the photo section.  Unfortunately, the plugin that I use, and LOVE, is not currently compatible with WP 2.3 and higher. :(  Because of this, I had to temporarily take down the fotomat page. As soon as I can get an upgraded plugin or something comparable, fotomat will return.

I saw this little table outside of my local post office today so I decided to chat with the activist. They are looking for support in this most important cause.
